It is now May 2012, the second month of the second quarter and I have not yet had my first quarter report out, my apologies to you all. I know that the work will never stop and end until the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, but it is just so much part of us that reporting often times gets ‘out of us’ and so hard to get ‘it in us.’ Please accept my late first quarter report for this 2012. Thank you all for your love for missions and God’s missionaries. We are blessed!
January, the first month of the year and on its first week, the church gave me a ‘surprise’ party! Well, it was supposed to be, but it was not a surprise for me! It is predictable always, just as any good child of God, good is always expected from us! And once the work and the will together hits God’s button, the laborers gets their due rewards. I thank God for all the people He gave me! The 3 souls that got saved during our monthly Evangelistic Night and the first Lord’s Supper was also held. The churches in BKK, Chom Chao, Redop, Takmao and Mondol-kirri continues to flourish as He had promised! To God be the glory!
We had our church camp at the Les Lac Resort Hotel and we had Preaching Contest for the male, Teaching Contest for the females and a Singing Contest for the 4 groups. We had another blessed time of preaching, teaching, singing, fellowship, games and food!

February is couples month at Bethany. We had many couples and this brought about 2 new members for BKK1, Srun and Joyce. God is always good and great all the time. This month we saw 6 getting saved thru this month’s Evangelistic Night. We also had many birthday celebrants and the brethren are “just tipping over the scale” this month! Food & Fellowship, abounding all the time! We see our men being used by God and being prepared as they bring God’s Word whenever they are asked to. The Bethany Baptist Bible College-Phnom Penh is enjoying good attendance with new faculty members.
Bro Sun is a local engineer-contractor and was led by Bro Hilton Soloriano, while Sis Joyce is a daughter of the David couple. They are now members of Bethany Baptist Church-BKK1.
March. The presence of Msnry Junifer Cabanillas and his wife is very much seen and felt here. Sis Melba, his wife is a local bred here at Bethany Chom Chao. Praise God for this couple, they are being greatly used in our ministries, while Bro Junifer is having language school, he helps us in our Bible College. We thank God for the partnership we have with Newlife Bible Baptist Church in Manapla under Dr. Renato Rebaton. We also rejoice in the presence of our Cambodian local, Chan Hak Seyhar. His wife later joined him for a brief while. They both will be back in the Philippines to be managed again by our sending church in Makati. Our local interns from Bataan are also a fount of big help.
